I am delighted to say we have had a great start to our year , the first meeting at Pine Ridge in May and yesterday at Blackmoor were both well attended in fine weather.  Your committee have lined up a good mix of courses which I hope you will enjoy playing – the next meeting is at West Byfleet GC on July 15th which will be my Captains’ Day. Results – Pine Ridge

After months of COVID, weeks of lockdown and cancellations of our planned golf events HMG eventually announce dates where we can meet and eat indoors in a social context. Great !! Now the problem is that many clubs are not accepting Golf Societies. Luckily I find that Pine Ridge GC ( my club ) is in a position to take us plus I can get the Green Room for eating and for our AGM. → More...

2021 Start of Year Newsletter

“Here we are again, happy as can be, all good friends ……… “ and no company!
It’s March, the daffodils are out, the trees starting to bud – so it is time to think about the coming golfing season😉
I trust you are all safe and well as we celebrate (if that is the right word) one year of COVID. Many of us will have had our first jab and the Covid numbers are all heading downwards – Thank God.
